In Melbourne we took the Aboriginal Tour. This was a walk through the Royal Botanical Garden with the guide (who was half-Irish). He talked about plants and trees and the uses they play in their life. We also went to a museum where we saw a show by Aboriginal dancers.
Our tour in Hobart took us to Richmond, a town built by convicts - and the old historic jail. We also visited the oldest Catholic Church in Australia. The highlight though was the visit to the Wildllife Park where we saw kangaroos, Koala bears, Tasmanian Devils and wombats.
